Brian Taylor is a doctoral student under the advisement of Dr. Carryl Baldwin. He received his Master of Arts degree from the University of Dayton in General Psychology in 2009, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado in Psychology in 2004.
Research
Using a combination of cognitive, social, and neuroscientific approaches, Brian is interested in exploring multisensory cognition and information processing toward the facilitation of learning, decision making, and product usability. Recently, Brian has been working in the Auditory Research Group studying age-related neurophysiological changes in language processing, and improving training systems for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle pilots using electroencephalography (EEG) and neural networks to assess mental workload.
