BACKGROUND / INTERESTS

Cynthia Nguyen is a first year masters student in the Human Factors and Applied Cognition program at George Mason University. She received her B.S. in Psychology and B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. Currently, her research interests include mental workload, vigilance, personality, usability, and medical human factors.

CURRENT WORK

Cynthia is assisting Dr. Tyler Shaw in the Cerebral Hemodynamics Lab to study the relationship between vigilance task performance and level of extraversion.
